Our Story
Eight years ago, pharmacist, mother, and entrepreneur Julia founded Lackto in Brazil with the mission of eternalizing the incredible experience of breastfeeding. Throughout her personal journey, she heard countless stories from mothers who, just like her, wanted to keep this unique connection forever.
Living motherhood in practice, Julia went through all the highs and lows of this period of devotion: insecurities, challenges, lessons, and achievements alongside her two children. She realized that memories held in the heart were not enough. What was missing was a physical and meaningful keepsake of such a special moment in the story of mother and child.
After much research, she created breast milk jewelry to eternalize this bond. That’s how MotherLove was born, a kit that allows each mother to create her own breast milk jewel at home.
Since then, more than half a million mothers have eternalized their breastfeeding journey with Lackto, and the brand has expanded its work to Europe and the United States.
